At the Cornell International Summit: Hospitality, Real Estate, and the Built Environment, industry leaders and academics will discuss growth in China’s hospitality and commercial real estate market, and the influence of environmental technologies on future urban development. The Summit will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund and is co-presented by the Cornell School of Hotel Administration, College of Architecture, Art, and Planning, and Center for Real Estate and Finance.
Confirmed speakers include Lee Pillsbury '69, founder, co-chairman, and CEO of Thayer Lodging Group, Teddy Zhang ’97, President and CEO, HUBS1 and Special Counsel to the Dean on China, Dean Kent Kleinman, College of Architecture, Art, and Planning, and Dean Michael Johnson. Additional speakers include CEOs of Chinese and international corporations, Chinese government officials, and Cornell faculty experts.
