The Eco Technology show will take place in Brighton on 14th - 15th June

The Eco Technology Show, the UK’s premier event for trade, building owners and managers (including those relating to hotels), occupiers, and the general public covering sustainable build, energy, transport and technology, is attracting industry leaders thanks to a packed seminar and conference programme that brims with content for property, building and facilities managers.

The show will include three exciting exploration zones encompassing: Eco Build, Renewable Energy, Office, and Home, Transport, Technology and Innovation zones.

The two day event has secured expert speakers from the likes of BT, Ikea and Energy Saving Trust to provide in-depth insights into key industry issues such as the Green Deal and domestic energy efficiency retrofits, commercial property and renewable energy, and innovation, smarter transport and waste.

Seminar highlights relevant to hotel managers include:

  • Lord Redesdale, Chief Executive Officer, Energy Managers' Association - Why creating an energy management profession is important to developing low carbon supply chains: Many energy managers have no formal qualifications in energy management. By adopting formal energy management training companies can gain a USP, save money and improve CSR.
  • Ben Kott, CEO & Founder, EnergyDeck - Can energy and resource efficiency ever achieve Google scale?: Hear from the former Green Energy manager at Google on the role energy management software and smart use of information can play in reducing energy use.
  • Rachel Espinosa, Director, Re-consult - Waste & landfill regulations impacting on business & public sector: Now that landfill tax has risen to a punitive £72 per tonne hear how business and the public sector can avoid sending waste to landfill by following the hierarchy of ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’

Nicola Gunstone, commercial director at The Eco Technology Show, comments: “We are delighted to have so many influential industry leaders and speakers involved. This event will create tangible opportunities for companies to network, promote themselves and do business with exhibitors and other visitors.

“I encourage property, building and facilities managers to check out our Smart Business Conference, which covers innovation and sustainable growth for future cities and business. This features speakers from various organisations and local authorities, such as BT’s General Manager Andrew Campling, who will talk about how to reduce a business’s carbon emissions by embedding sustainability into its culture.

“The Eco Technology Show is a must attend event for anyone interested in how energy efficiency and saving money will drive their business forward. The interest in this year’s event has been phenomenal, making it set to be the biggest yet!”
