Westin focuses on staff well-being

Westin Hotels & Resorts has launched a global, brand-wide initiative that will introduce its “Elements of Well-Being Platform” to its employees throughout the world

Borrowing from the signature experiences offered to guests, Westin will now offer its staff special programmes designed to inspire healthy choices and general well-being, both in and out of the workplace.

The three main components of the initiative will be to provide employees with healthy menu options, to help them maintain fitness and to introduce new practices to improve overall air quality.

A designated “Well Ambassador” at the hotel will be responsible for overseeing these aspects of the “Associate Enrichment Program”, which will be rolled out to more than 25,000 employees at 181 Westin properties worldwide.

As part of the scheme, housekeepers at selected properties will receive a pair of cushioned New Balance trainers to wear during their shifts.

“Westin’s entire brand positioning stems from our mission of helping our guests better themselves.
