This is the fifth year running that Rezidor has achieved the title, and it reflects their continued commitment to the three pillars of their responsible business programme; Think People, Think Together and Think Planet.
The Ethisphere award that Rezidor has been given follows a proprietary rating system that includes: Ethics and Compliance Programme, Reputation, Leadership and Innovation, Governance, Corporate Citizenship and Responsibility and Culture of Ethics.
Rezidor is listed next to leaders from other industries including Levi Strauss & Co., Google, Inc., L'ORÉAL and General Electric Company. For a complete listing of the 2014 winners, visit www.ethisphere.com.
Thomas Donaldson, Professor at The Wharton School says, “It’s notoriously difficult to evaluate ethics at the corporate level; Ethisphere has identified the most important criteria for doing so.”
With Rezidor’s ‘Yes I Can!’ service philosophy aiming to create value for employees, guests and owners, the hotel group aims to maintain excellent standards across all of these categories.
“We are honoured that Rezidor is recognized by Ethisphere on a global stage for its service philosophy, Responsible Business Programme and Code of Business Ethics,” said Wolfgang M. Neumann, President and CEO, The Rezidor Hotel Group. “Since 2010, Rezidor has been named one of the Most Ethical Companies Worldwide each year.”
The Rezidor Hotel Group is a member of the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. The group features a portfolio of 430 hotels in operation and under development with 95,000 rooms in 70 countries.
